1. Mixed PMD packaging

Description of the fraction:

Plastic: Bottles, flasks, pots, cups, plastic trays

Metal: Tins, cans and trays made of aluminium or steel

Drink cartons:

Treatment method and facility: Mechanical sorting at the Hein Déchets facility, together with blue bags, then transport to various recycling channels

The rates are based on the material sent for recycling from the Hein Déchets sorting facility, corresponding to a mixture of material collected at resource centres and blue bags collected door-to-door.

Description of fraction

5. Corks

Description of the fraction

Corks

Treatment method and facility: Mechanical recycling at NEVEON Nürtingen GmbH (Germany), a partner of Diakonie Kork. The corks collected for Diakonie Kork as part of the ‘Korken für Kork’ campaign are used to support the Hanauerland workshops, which are workshops for people with disabilities.
