Important Updates in Valbase Online (Reporting 2025)
As part of our continuous improvement of Valbase Online and to prepare for upcoming European requirements together, several new features will soon be introduced on the platform
All these changes share the same goal: to simplify your declarations, improve data consistency, and provide you with more efficient tools. 
1. New requirement: Indicating your supplier and your customer
To enhance transparency and avoid double declarations in B2B supply chains, Valbase Online will now ask you to indicate:
- the supplier from whom you purchase your products or packaging,
- the customer to whom you sell or transfer these products.
The improvement allows for:
✔️ full traceability,
✔️ better alignment between companies,
✔️ stron preparation for upcoming PPWR obligations.
The input field is simple, intuitive, and integrated directly into your workflow.
2. New feature: Automatic product analysis (test phase)
We are introducing an important new tool: automatic product analysis using artificial intelligence, available for detailed declarations.
Once your product sheet is completed, simply click: "Analyse product"
The tool will generate a coherence score, based on:
- the presence of all packaging elements,
- material plausibility,
- logical composition,
- declared weights
This feature helps you identify potential inconsistencies quickly and improves the quality of your declarations.
The AI will evolve continuously and become more precise over time.
Please note: during the test phase, this analysis is informative only and has no contractual value.
3. Refinement of the simplified declaration - Focus on beverages
The standard simplified declaration remains fully available for most products.
However, to improve the accuracy of market placement data, we kindly invite all members to declare their beverage products using a preconfigured detailed declaration form developed by Valorlux.
This form already includes:
✔️ the most common beverage materials,
✔️ standard formats,
✔️ typical structures such as bottle, cap, label, film, etc.

In addition, a new Valbase Online Guide will be published shortly. This guide will include step-by-step explanations of the new features, supported by examples.
