In 2025, Valorlux celebrated its 30th anniversary, providing an opportunity to review the progress made over the years and prepare for upcoming regulatory changes.
This annual report provides key figures from our activities over the past year, such as financial results, recycling and recovery rates, and contributions from our members.
You will also find out more about the progress made towards achieving the legal recycling target of 50% for plastic, including the planned modernisation of the Hein Déchets sorting centre in April 2026, as well as the first effects of extended producer responsibility for non-household packaging.
The report also explores the challenges associated with the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), the cooperation agreement signed with five other extended producer responsibility (EPR) organisations from neighbouring countries, namely Belgium, France and the Netherlands, and our waste prevention initiatives, including the national call for projects launched at the end of 2025.
